Oh boy. Think of how many people's lives he had an effect on by doing that...5000 pieces of mail.

I understand completely.
This is why I choose to have everything possible delivered via email or via the internet in some way.
My USPS mail is often left at the homes of others. Sometimes the carrier does not completely shut the mail box door. This results in wind from semi's opening the door and spreading my mail across the road and ditch.
The most recent loss was a letter about health insurance. Even though I had requested that everything be sent via internet, this was sent postal mail. I never received the letter. End result was that my health insurance was never processed before the deadline. So, I do not have health insurance, due to not receiving the letter. It included forms I needed to sign and return. Am trying to explain and work it out, but it is looking dim.
If I cannot get the insurance I applied for, all other insurance I have looked into will cost 75% of my monthly income. Cannot afford that.
I wonder how many were effected by the actions of this postal worker and others.

I'm having an issue right now where the alternate mail guy won't knock on my flipping door and deliver a package they have had for 3 weeks!!! I have escalated the case to Richmond and it was SUPPOSED to be here yesterday. Still not here. This happened before. It's always international that requires a signature. The guy just won't get out of his truck. I have been hours on the phone about this. Seriously, literally hours.

I was able to set up notifications and delayed delivery if I was not going to be home when delivery was to occur. The problem I have is that mail delivery tomes have a 4 hour range, depending on driver. Seems that each takes a different route. Sometimes I am home, sometimes I am not.

He probably spent more money on renting a storage space than if he just would of done the damn route.
Plain laziness

Well that wasn’t so hard was it? Why can’t they get it right? Yeah, well in the middle of trying to deal with Uncle Bobby's death and a zillion phone calls, I had to be here to get the package which was SUPPOSED to be here yesterday. But, I guess I'm just glad to get it.
