Hi montanza , I do have a bucket of Tampa Bay coral. I am in Tucson for a few more days but I’ll see if I can find it when I return home to Florida and let you know. Jeff A

I have a good sized chunk of Indonesian coral that was given to me. Mohs 7 or so, it is really hard stuff. Just was curious of that’s the type of coral you wanted?

Wow, those corals look amazing. That was a long and patient tumble, but with great results.

Thankyou guys for the help. I think Jamesp has several pictures of what I am looking for. The fossil structure in the coral is most appealing.

I don't have or find much coral in Florida/Georgia with the polyp structure. It is hard to find here. I suggest you go online and buy the Indo coral. It is known having preserved coral structures like no other in the world. Granted it is a bit expensive but it is worth the extra money. Even if you can find a small amount of it. I made a flickr album of a man's collection of Indo coral cabs. Check them out: www.flickr.com/photos/67205364@N06/sets/72157674877164213
