I really don’t know why these
Blue and green pieces
I picked up some rock show
were made ?

Now, I know what fiber optic cable is .
Thin thin strands of glassy material
wrapped in cable and able to transmit
Data incredibly fast

if the fiber optic pieces I bought
were made for only decorative purpose
I don’t know.

But they are popular with certain vendors
At rock shows
And I will be on the search for more...

I‘m sure other member have more insight!
