Amethyst rough from local shop Clear Quartz rough from local shop, except two rightmost I found. Carnelian rough from local shop Self-collected chunks of fairly white Quartz Self-collected stained Quartz from Magnetite-rich area Miscellaneous Quartz collected from all over the place.

Yea, all rotary. Coarse shaping in the 12 lb with the big stones, then finished in the 3 lb barrels.
Did 2 weeks in polish since after one week they weren't quite there. First week in polish had ceramics and plastics. I read plastics don't always give a good finish so second week was just ceramics. It could also be that the recipe for smaller barrels requires more run time in the polish stage.
