Watched A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood last night. So good. I spent many hours watching Mr. Rogers when I was a kid. Tom Hanks did a great job portraying him, watch this one if you can.

I have it, but I haven't seen it, yet. The virus will give us a chance to catch some movies we've been wanting to see. Assuming I can get through this one without crying. I genuinely LOVE MR. Rogers. Raised my kids on him. A more purely Good person has rarely existed.

So, I won't forget.
I always loved the Waltons, too. I loved it, my kids loved it and my grandkids loved it. My daughter has ALL the dvds. Her and her teenage son still cuddle on the couch sometimes for a show.

Much better to like the Waltons then to watch that purple dinosaur Barney.

Haven't seen the Hanks flick yet, but the documentary 'Won't you be my neighbor' was a good watch. Look forward to seeing the other one.

For us, it is old westerns, and movies that have been seen too may times to count. (I have to refrain from throwing up every time he watches "Quigley Down Under" with Tom Selleck. At one time, I thought it was an okay movie, not so much anymore. You really can get sick seeing a movie too many times, lol.
I can see my cable bill going up, if I watch too many pay-per-view movies. (Have not done so yet.) My DVD player not currently working. Although with the virus, I won't go p/u a movie at redbox these days, anyway. Good thing I have a butt-load of books to read!

We just have Netflix and Amazon, no tv. (My SIL also procures many movies for us.) I don't care much to watch tv or movies, but there are a few I want to catch up on. Right now, we watch about 5 hrs of the tube a week or less. I'm guessing it will go up a little.

You can say that again! I'm not a big TV watcher, either. Yesterday, DH caught up on episodes of Deputy and Tommy on demand. Not interested in the current pablum they are churning out of Hollywood these days.
Give me National Geographic, Science channel, Discovery, and PBS. (Not Judge Judy, Cops, Divorce Court, Paternity Court - All very Jerry Springer-ish, arguing, waste of my time!)

I get a real smug, satisfaction out of answering - "Never seen it." LOL! OK, call me an elitist of sorts, but I like your list.

I just watched Shan of the Dead on Netflix. Very funny, but not for everybody. Still, a good movie to just kick back and forget about things going on in the world. I was curious about the editing and transitions, to see what I might be able to replicate in my videos. The techniques were amazing. Classic Edgar Wright. He makes his own rules.

We gave away our big tube TV eons ago. Daughter keeps us from being culturally deprived by showing us Netflix or Amazon movies.
We’ve seen “all” the Clint Eastwood, Superman, Batman, Ironman movies. And Indiana Jones. And ? I like adventure and escape movies. Don’t want sad stories or mean stories.
And we read a lot.

Numerous times. A friend of my sister's was born in Ecuador. Her mother called him " Clintwood," lol.

Check out Dear White People. I think it's the most underrated tv series right now. It talks about social scourges of modern capitalist homophobic and racist society, so don't be surprised that regular users gave it low ratings. The series had been praised by reputable critics, they gave it really high ratings, so watch it. It's available on Netflix and on many more streaming sites I guess I don't watch shows that denigrate other cultures.

Interesting that this was your choice for first post. Most people find their way to something rock related.
