I suspect that these might be obvious to you, but the guy I acquired them from couldn't tell me what they are.

The coloration kind of reminds me of Lavic. (Then again, lots of stuff can look like Lavic ) Sometimes it is found in layered fashion like yours which are pretty awesome samples, BTW. Here a few examples. Hope you don't mind the additional photos.

There's a piece in there that suggests that it could have come from the same rough as my two slabs:

Arizona sunset jasper, maybe..
I just happen to have a slab of Arizona sunset jasper coming my way next week. Thanks! I'll be able to do a very close comparison.

Does this look the same? Actual color is washed out in photos. It is much brighter.

It doesn't look like the Table Mesa we have, but we got it from a friend who collected it. Ours has very tight banding.

Yeah, our club actually went on a field trip to Table Mesa several years ago. Material from the area where they collected is different. New deposits must have been found or rediscovered since then.
The stuff we have has wild patterns in it - but if you insist on a flawless finish you wouldn't like the tiny little specks that don't polish like the rest.

Here are pics of two sides of the same chunk of Table Mesa rough. Collected about five years ago from a site just over a mile off of I-17.
The rough you have - which I also looked up online - might be from a different collecting area there. I think I've heard about a site not too far from the area where our club went on the field trip.
