years ago I purchased a store bought pickle pot because I was getting into Casting & Ag and Au jewelry. I still have it, it warms the solution to make it work faster but I discovered that since I worked a regular job during the day it took too long to heat up. I was using sparex. It worked well but I discovered that sparex need s heat and that sulfuric acid it what they use to use. So I added a little sulfuric in with the sparex and never needed to heat it again. I keep a stainless lid over the top when not using. even a beaker will work. go for what is cheap.

I use a cheap mini crockpot from Target or Walmart. I also use Allum (grocery baking aisle) instead of expensive pickle product. When it gets a little used, I add a few squirts of Hydrogen Peroxide to supercharge it. The only issue I’ve ever had with mini crockpot, is to keep an eye on the lid because the edges can rust when it gets older.
