The cubic habit of the crystals makes me think galena,lead sulphide. Not certain though.

Galena is a good possibility, streak test should nail it down.

Go to Home Depot or similar and get a piece of white bathroom tile. Scratch your rock on the unglazed side. If the streak is gray (galena) most likely, if red hematite, if black possibly magnetite (it should also be magnetic). The powder that is on the table by the specimen appears gray which would possibly be galena.
