To bump an old and underdeveloped poetry thread.
There was once a guy named Rob Who liked rocks more than his job Stones were his thrills Youtube paid the bills But he secretly worked for the mob
No offense Rob, this just seemed like an interesting plot twist.

I feel bad about accusing Rob of working for the mob. I tried to write a kinder, gentler limerick.
He put the quadratic equations away A linear retirement? He said, no way! Rocks were his passion Leaving no time for fashion Thank god for UofM t-shirts, I’d say
There's a really poor and not entirely sensical math joke in there.

I wrote two quickies. One I can post here, the other's on the "adult" side but it has a rockhounding theme, sort of. If you're curious and not easily offended, message me.
A young agate-licker named Bill Licked rocks to give him a thrill. But he licked some enargite Which ruined his appetite And arsenic licked our poor Bill

There was a young man from Nantucket who collected his rocks in a bucket. It’s easier he found, since he almost drowned when he put ‘em all in his pocket.

I just found your channel the other night! I could not sleep and don't even remember what I had searched, but one of your vids came up (how to get started tumbling) And loved it! Really liked the collecting vids but also enjoyed the "basement" series. Learned a lot and you inspired me to save up for a Lot-O and give a vibe a go!Oh and I did Sub!

Thanks for the laugh!
