Out again, found this rock oriented memorial

We took a ride to an area outside Parowan, UT, Yankee Meadow and Reservoir.  I've been here many times, even stopped to take photos and never noticed this memorial. Glad we walked over to see it, they constructed it using locally collected rocks like Agates and Petrified Wood. Bet it wasn't easy to access in 1958! There was a large, 70,000 acres, fire three years ago, ground cover is coming back. 


Went back to older photos, here it is in one from May 2018 - how'd we miss it?

I would never do such a thing, but it did cross my mind that I could liberate some of those rocks if the need arose
