I think that's the best Gary Green tumbles I've seen. Not easy material with all the pits that almost look like bubble holes at times, but you did a real nice job with those!

Thanks Tommy, I appreciate the material you gave me. It was fun to work with - it's a beautiful mix of colors for sure. I have a few more really nice pieces still to come, but weren't finished and ready yet for pictures

Sometimes I think being a picky tumbler takes forever. These were like months of work, saw fixes, re tumbles etc. Appreciate it!

Beautomus. I think Tommy flies around with aliens finding those killer rock veins. From your flicker at 2048 size. Screen shot at 2048 it and shared it to my flickr using Mac. Had to see this fine rock up close.

I think Tommy flies around with aliens finding those killer rock veins. Oh boy how I wish it were so easy. Truth is back in 2016 catmandewe showed us where the Ellipso hole was at the Gary Green site with all it's orby goodness. We went back a couple more times before the land changed hands, the last time up we gathered up a bunch of colorful tumble rough just laying around on the ground thick as gravel. The whole Ellipso hole has been mined hard now in the past couple of years - I doubt it looks like it did. Just more reason why when y'all see Tony ask who wants to get an RTH meet up together, "yes please" is the only appropriate response heehee Obiliscious!

Incrediblicious stone. Shame it is being consumed. Rumor has it Tommy climbs those mountains like a mountain goat when collecting. Most collecting over here is flat land and rivers.

We do have some chert that is pretty neat in my father-in-law's creek but beyond that not too much. I am not quite sure where the Missouri "lace" is I have seen some pics of here and there. I need to go make some rock hounding trips sometime soon.

The original photos have plenty of room to zoom in quite a bit. That first pic is one of may favorites. It's tinier but its really cool.

This stone resembles some green and turquoise colored Flint Ridge material saxplayer. The site is not too far from you.

I have some tumbling currently and they are very neat pieces indeed. I just have to convince my wife to watch my 3 kids solo for a matter of days while I go have fun )

This does really look like petrified wood. But amazing colors. I wish I could find something like this in my neck of the woods. Maybe Arizona. My favorite is the large chunk at the 1 O'clock position in the top photo. Great job with the polish on them and thanks for sharing!

That chunk was a slice I did with my 8'' saw. It was a really cool piece. It is very large - cab - esque and not a natural tumble look but I just couldn't keep myself from slicing that rock once I saw how it looked.
