Yes, No, Maybe. Due to the fact that all your others are wood I'd say yes.

My guess on this one is stromatolite.

I just read that stromatolite was a very soft stone I don't know if that is true or not but it should scratch easily then. I just sent a email to the wyoming geological survey to see what they say.

Stromatolite hardness is all over the map depending upon how agatized it is. I have literally tons of it from southern Wyoming and I've noticed that much of mine is softer on the outer layers, but tends to harden up toward the inside where the concentration of silica dioxide is increased. I'd guess the harder stuff in my inventory is around a 5 to 6 on the mohs scale.

Nice piece. Looks like wood is a possibility to me. As for polishing, I'd say, leave it as a specimen. It looks great as it is.

I heard back from the WGS (wyoming geological survey) and several geologists looked at the pictures I sent the and they say this is not a stromatolite. So just really cool petrified wood which is cool with me.

Doesn't look like wood to me. In fact it doesn't look like agate at all.
Have you scratch tested it with steel?
