Was found, think on Lake Superior. 2.2 lb and 4.5". The line dividing slightly different finishes was a test of a certain Dupont product to see if a line would be created and if it would come out in a week of 1,200 SC. It almost came out. Surface very smooth and silky. Would not polish shine so finished in the 1,200. Used as a doorstop in my house. Not sure what it is. Took 6 months or so. Might have come from a glacial moraine in Ontario. Have notes on origin, but haven't bothered to dig out. I like this rock a lot.

If someone can ID would enjoy knowing. Could probably take closeup of grain if needed. If a form of granite it's the tightest most fine-grained granite I've ever found.
