How do handle not getting a full order ?
This is pretty small deal. I’m not going to name the company, nor the product. This may all get resolved soon anyway
Nonetheless I never really bought stuff online But were all starting to get forced to
So I opened a PayPal account & ordered my product off this company web and paid with the Pal
I got the product really quick in the mail
But only 1 of the 2 items ordered
There was no hard copy invoice with the shipment Although the electronic e-mail from both PayPal and the company shows the proper order.
So I sent an e-mail to the company w/ a quick explanation Haven’t hear anything back, yet
Just wondering Does PayPal have a dispute resolution? Ect….
Thanks!

The power of the poor review... web sellers live in fear of bad reviews as that will take them down quickly. The seller should resolve issue quickly but if not the PayPal protection will have you covered.

Thanks Evan
I’m not sure this company have a response page Plus I gotta believe it just an oversight Be pretty stupid for them to play games
Although it does seem like they could have replied to my e-mail by now? That email was sent Friday morning.
Anyway PayPal is all new to me going to have get used to the convenience and in & outs of online ordering

Paypal has dispute resolution. File a claim on paypal asap. That will usually get things moving. This is not a paypal example, it was Amazon but the process is the same. I bought a high thread count bottom sheet through Amazon from a seller in India. It was shipped quickly but was unacceptable; it had a strong chemical smell that would not go away after repeated washings. Since it was third party, I needed to deal directly with the seller. The best offer I could get was a small discount on another sheet. I filed a claim and eventually got a refund from Amazon.
Filing a paypal claim is an inducement for your seller to get off their butt.

Yep that Amazon is client friendly usually not that I've ever had a buyers dispute w/ them but have had many employee/employer disputes they are brutal idiots but they make all the money so I guess it works for them in November I'll go back for some more abuse in the short term- I thrive on it tough gig for those that get locked in they are brutal idjits o welll....

O yeah never thought of that
I'm just going to play this cool its only 15 bucks if they fess up- they do if not-- well shame on them
its a fairly small operation so their audit will be proof and they are the only supplier locally we used to have in store options but all that gone away
so we'll see how this grit rolls & refines

Reviews are best used before buying. Since it's a small amount of money, it is your choice to be patient and forget it. The result you get from filing a paypal claim is to get their attention. It will cause an escalation in getting back to you. Leaving a review is best done after being unable to resolve the situation after making an effort. There is no need for them to do an audit. Best business practice is to believe you and rectify the situation which falls under "the customer is always right." Not providing good customer service loses business. You don't know why they haven't got back to you.

That good advise
There is an art to this online buying stuff Lots of pitfalls lots of goods
customer reviews & ratings in ebay Amazon ect… good stuff
a less than honest seller seem like would short term profit scheme
and online buying does put a certain weight on the seller as the buyer is buying unseen and expecting the order to be fulfilled
In store purchases ya know your getting the right quantity Theoretically
the customer is always right O boy that getting virtually hazy,,,mostly I guess
But I have no idea what I’m talking about I was never a good shopper Lousy at bargains
When I do shop its mostly window shopping Look at all the things I can live with out
I’m even that way with rocks I have enough at bed bottom ....

Check sellers website. They might have a note about having business being affected by COVID-19, and/or hurricanes or fires. Ive seen that a lot. Good luck!

I'm a super shopper. I buy non perishables in bulk, I buy before I need, I comparison shop. When something is needed right away like an appliance failing, I just take care of it. I have no skill buying a house of a car. Most of my shopping is done on the internet. Before being locked down, I would shop at multiple grocery stores, not to save money but to get the specific items I wanted.

I thought I had an issue like that, but a second package that was never mentioned anywhere was delivered 2 days later.

Its like when I bought my Pixie I drove form Phoenix to Tucson Specifically to purchase at At DP set up at the rock show They had a lotof boxes on the shelf I recall the clerk It wasn’t the most friendliest purchase I mean damm I’m laying down 1400 bucks Just give me the box that Been quality controlled tested out perfect please So I get my Pixie Excited I drve back to Phoenix Set it up in the late evening Start grind and the pubp is spitting Right at that point I sais Ed Drive back to Tucson And return this sucker for another But No! I didn’t know if it was really deficient Two wekks later Pump quit working Few phone call to DP Advice They sent me new belt ect ect No real solution Spit spit spit What was I going to do? Send it back ? I need it now They wanted to sell me a new pump I don’t want to install a new pump So I bought an alternative pump That worked. Being that this problem was well documented The next year I brought the machine back down to DP in Tucson The friendly owner or some VIP Reinstalled new leathers on the old pump. Bring the machine home Crap. Pump doesn’t work ! Now I’m pretty pissed. Through connections got a new pump I had to install it Works like a champ 5 years later. Why that VIP dude didn’t just install a new pump beats me> Saving a dime-- pissing off of good customer Grind on More rocky roads ahead ;;;
