Anybody else think legos are cool? Check out this set; you can actually vote for this to be put in production. Found the link on Mindat but I can’t figure out how to link the LEGO page here🤓. All of these are very nice but I really dig the aquamarine and rhodochrosite matrix models.

Those are pretty cool. I don't think Legos had been invented yet when I was a kid. I remember playing with Tinkertoys and Lincoln Logs when I was a kid. That, and kicking cans.

You beat me to it! As I was reading down the thread all I could think of was I didn't have Legos either...just Lincoln Logs and Tinker Toys! Wait...I don't know why I'm laughing...that really dates me! Oh well! LOL

Jason, you are not that old, lol. Ok, so I had to Google it. You're right. Legos were first manufactured in 1949. They'd already been around for 23 years. I guess that means my parents were "frugal" with toy purchases when I was a kid...or else my dad just didn't want to step on the dang things! LOL However, Lincoln Logs and Tinker Toys were well used by my sister and me as kids.

Lol I just got some LEGO stuff last Xmas. And a couple Hot Wheels too! I collect toys as well as being into rocks/minerals and rockhoundung in general. No wonder my wife calls me immature😉

No wonder my wife calls me immature😉 That's a funny way of saying "super cool person"... My husband is the one that got me into Lego so he only has himself to blame. Buuuut.....I got him into rocks. I think we're even..

I played with my friends legos as a child. Made sure my daughter had lots of them, so I could play with them too. First time I had seen the translucent ones, other than basic clear. Thanks for sharing.

Those look really cool, although I'm partial to the real thing.
