I think the clutch on my 10 inch Raytech saw might be slipping. Then again it could also be sludge in the clutch threads. I wanted to take it apart to look at it but can't figure out how to do that.
This first pic is of the threaded feed rod at the gear motor end. On the right side there is a set screw that I assume would detach the threaded rod from the gear motor shaft. On the left, it looks like it is a pin that must to into the threaded rod.

This pic is of the threaded feed rod at the back of the unit. It looks like another pin that goes thru the feed rod to hold it in place.

I tried pushing the pins out with a small nail set but they don't seem to want to move.
The final pic is of the clutch. I tried tightening down the screw on the left, it seemed to help a little. I have the power to the saw on one of those bathroom fan timers so I can set the timer for 15 minutes and know the saw will shut off when it is thru the piece. The first cut after tightening the screw went all the way thru, but the 2nd cut went only half way.

I wanted to look at the threads of the brass clutch to see if there was gunk in there or if the threads were worn but I don't know how to disassemble it. I can take the screw on the left out but don't know if I have to take the whole threaded rod assembly out of the saw to access the underside of the screw/handle on the right side or if I have to remove the handle on the right side to get the top clutch plate off. Looks like the pin going left to right thru the handle and screw is peened over so I'm thinking that is not the way to do it. Also, even if the top half of the clutch is off, I'm not sure there is enough clearance to pull the lower half out.
I'm not seeing a way to pull the pins on the ends of the feed rod to get the whole assembly out so that I can possibly take the clutch apart from the bottom.
I also noted with the red arrow that the top of the clutch plate under the handle is indented which raises the possibility that the issue is either the bottom of the handle is worn so it doesn't press the plate down enough or maybe the top of the top of the clutch plate is worn.
