I got this slab on auction from Tony at fullmoon on facebook. All quartz. I have a smaller slab that is nicer than this, but I have banned from cutting it by my wife. Nothing to stop me from getting another slab. Where there is a will there is a way.

I've never seen blue in OJ before, and I've seen a lot of it. Very nice potential in that slab.

Gorgeous material. It's quartz? It has a pattern like Ocean Jasper. Very unusual stuff.

It's ocean jasper that is mainly quartz. The poppies are green with a yellow halo (according to my color expert wife).

"There are no problems...only solutions!" Gorgeous material...I can't wait to see the "next batch" that mysteriously shows up in the mail!

stardiamond, would your wife buy "teal" as a color descriptor? It has a definite blue tint.

stardiamond, would your wife buy "teal" as a color descriptor? It has a definite blue tint. Photography is not an exact science for me, I do the best I can taking pictures. My wife has a degree in studio art and would do assignments of making a color chart using the component colors. She has an expert color eye. I have a hard time with red/green and blue/gray. I design based on the values I see more than the colors.
