I think my wife is about to put a parental control lock on my computer so I can't look on eBay and etsy at slabs for cabbing! She doesn't believe these things just "jump" into my shopping cart all by themselves!

I believe there is herd immunity when buying rocks, the bigger the herd the less that will be added to it.

Nipping overzealous rock buying online before the rock addict starts dipping into the kids college funds probably a good thing! Since mrrockpicker became disabled last December (he is doing so much better now, but he'll never be able to do the work he used to do) he spends much of his time watching TV and on his phone (online) looking at things he "needs," lol. If I deem them necessary, I'll get them for him. But only after he has done the research on the item. It's on him if I order what he wants, and it's the wrong thing. He retired the 1st of October. We just went through the gunsafe, taking photos and doing inventory. He had me order some clips for some of his rifles. He's got a pair of Ruger 22s, and an M1 carbine that had belonged to his dad. And more! Never know when you will need to use them for protection...

I like the way you're kind of looking at this...with my wife having grown up on a dairy farm, I'll just tell her I need to build the herd!!! So you're saying he still wears the pants in the family...you just control the zipper! My parents are our neighbors. My father has an overflowing gun safe...so I know where to stock up if/when the time ever comes!

And the purse strings, lol.
He is always checking out Craigslist, I keep telling him to stay the heck off of there. Then he'll tell me he's only looking at the free stuff. Right!!!!
So far no Lifetime movies. Mostly old westerns, war movies. I tolerate it. He was weaned on TV, me - not so much.
