I have mentioned before that I keep a few rocks from every batch to go into my personal collection. If I had to guess I would say there are about 40-50 pounds that have made the cut out of about 1,200 pounds of finished product. Some make the cut based on being flawless specimens and some make the cut based on pattern and eye appeal or even just rarity of the material. I want to photograph a bunch of them to create a really cool album so as I get them done I'll also try to post them here. I'll photograph them all over time but some of these will be removed from the favorites basket to make room for newer better tumbles. 1A / 1B 2 3 4 This one has a couple fractures but took a better shine then most Kambaba Jasper 5 This one must have got chipped over the years while in the display bowl. I already ground out the chip and it will be getting re-tumbled 6 7 8 9 10 Thanks for looking Chuck

I'd be hard-pressed to remove any of these from my favorites... Very nice work, Chuck! And yeah, #1....but #3 is no slouch either!

Oh yeh! I love the orbicular, but my eyes are really gravitating toward that Turritella! Nice job on all of them...definite contenders to stay in the favorites bowl!

Beautiful! Such fine polishes. I LOVE number 1. Is it OJ? Not 100% sure about the I.D. on #1 but the close up could pass as ocean jasper. It is large enough to slice and cab if a get desperate enough. Chuck

Looks like either OJ or Indonesian River jasper to me. They can be almost indistinguishable to my eye. Whichever one, it is my favorite (hey, I managed to pick just one!), in a sea (pun intended) of beautiful stones. Great work.

I do not have massive amounts of rocks so I almost always remember where I got stuff. No clue about this one though. The more I look at those pictures the more tempting it is to cut it for cabs. They are all beautiful! Those mossy ones are spectacular. They look like they are frozen in time.

Thanks- I have a nice selection of tumbled Montana agates now that I don't think I could ever bring myself to sell. That material is so common yet getting flaw and fracture free tumbled pieces has been a challenge over the years. Chuck

Thank you for sharing. What is the black background behind what I believe is blue lace agate?

Thank you for sharing. What is the black background behind what I believe is blue lace agate? That picture was just taken on a velvet jewelry tray liner. Light blue gets washed out on a white background. Chuck

These are quite awesome! I only 40-50 rocks in my 'best' pile. And none of them would likely make it in to your 'best' pile. Hehe.
My next post should provide stark contrast to you rocks here so that people can see just how great yours are.
I like #3. Just looks mossy to me which is cool.
