Just one quick photo of these weeks lot-o batch. Not many worth shooting close ups but overall a nice looking batch. Swazi agate, Bahia agate, Owyhee picture jasper, Desert jasper, Carnelian agate, Tiger eye, Snowflake obsidian, silver sheen obsidian, and mahogany obsidian Chuck

Yours are always the best, Chuck. If I didn't know better I would say you have trick photography! I like the larger rock that is dead in the middle, right below that Snowflake Obsidian. There is another one or two like it at the 10:00 and 2:00 positions. I love the colors. Are those like a Jasper / Hematite perhaps? Where are they sourced from?

If you mean the Jet black and orange(ish) ones those are mahogany obsidian. Chuck

Quick question. Did you tumble these all in the same batch? if so, how are you tumbling obsidian with rocks that are much harder with so much success?

Quick question. Did you tumble these all in the same batch? if so, how are you tumbling obsidian with rocks that are much harder with so much success? The answer is yes everything in that picture tumbled together from stage one through finish. That being said I do not recommend it and actually all of the obsidian in that photo is being re-run in the lot-o by itself right now just to spruce it up. I only added to this mixed batch originally as filler knowing I would correct it after. Chuck
