I was sent a box of turquoise from Arizona, because I mentioned in one of my videos that my wife likes it. I think I now have enough rock to play with until spring. hehe Let me know if there are any specific things about turquoise to think about before I start cabbing.

Beautiful! You're gonna have fun with that. Can't help, though. I've cut very little turquoise. That looks pretty solid, though.

Nice haul. I'm green with envy and feeling blue.

Turquoise cuts easily. Some is harder than others, so I would probably skip the 80 grit. You can polish right after 3,000 with some Zam on a soft buff.
Looks like lots of fun!

What a beautiful little box of mail!
My recommendation is go slow! The wheels will eat it up fast

Thanks for the great suggestions. I guess I will have to stop using my dop station as a coffee cup warmer and get some wax into it.

Back that turquoise. If it's soft and comes apart when stabbing then squirt cheap super glue all over it and let it cure a couple days and then try to slab it.

I spent a fortune on turquoise and got crap. I'm happy that you got decent sized rocks. Let's see them polished.
