I don't know, but I think if it is very soft, it will crumble instead of shine. Not a tumbler.

Greetings my guess it looks like Rose Quartz Moh's 7.0, if it can be scratched with a metal nail or penknife then Calcite Moh's 3.0 it fizzles with table vinegar!
Pat: Is not a rock tumbler true, but she is a barreler for her jewelery, to me she is a jewelery tumbler!

Pardon me for asking but does it taste salty? Looks like some kind of salt.

Pardon me for asking but does it taste salty? Looks like some kind of salt. LOL! That was my first thought too. Or, if the green is real, then calcite.

My first thought was salt too! Then i thought, aquamarine? Could be calcite or fluorite also. Does any of it have any crystal faces or form?

It would be helpful if you can provide more info than just a picture: hardness, streak, location, etc. All of the guesses so far are good. If you don't care what happens to the rocks then stick them into stage 1 tumbling and keep an eye on them. If they are salt or soft, then they will be rounded in a couple of days. If they are harder, like quartz, then you will want to run a week or more in stage 1. What happens in the stage 1 will tell you how long to run in the next stages. Good luck
