You can always call Shawn at The Rock Shed tomorrow and verify with him. He owns The Rock Shed. He's very laid back and very nice to talk with. He'd have the most accurate information. (605) 666-4813 (I live close to them and visit them every once in awhile...everyone who works there has always been pleasant and very helpful. )

What does Amazon have to do with it, just order/call Rock Shed direct. Shawn has dedicated his life to helping people in this hobby. I don't mean to be obnoxious but..... (shut up Jim)

The pictures of the products certainly look like the same pictures on the Rock Shed’s website.
One thing to remember is that Amazon charges extremely high fees for the privilege of selling there. That means the prices on Amazon are usually significantly higher than the prices for the same products on a store’s own website, and it also means that the Rock Shed may not be making the same profits even if they raise the prices on Amazon.
For a small business, I always prefer to buy directly from them rather than Amazon. If they aren’t comfortable buying from the Rock Shed directly, would it be possible for you to place the order for them and they reimburse you. Charge them Amazon prices for your trouble if you’d like. 😉

I am going to go out on a limb and say NO. Read the manufacturer reviews. 33% negative and a lot of claimed that the products are falsely advertised and we're coming from China. I have spoken with Shawn several times and he is a go-to guy. Always super pleased with my orders from him. ALWAYS open to special requests and suggestions (I had a ton of questions about a Thumlers lid concern- he was so knowledgeable and helpful) I even asked him for some particular size rocks to "fill up" a large flat rate box and he went above and beyond to make sure I got my monies worth. This seems to be a new scam where a seller "assumes" the identity of an established company and then sends substandard products (or no products at all!) I shoot airguns- and this has become a very real problem with some people out thousands of dollars and no recourse (if they use Paypal as there is no money back on any type of weapon sales with PP). Call Shawn and double check and boy I hope I am wrong but I just have that funny feeling.

Even if it is, Amazon treats their sellers horribly, and take way too much of the profit. If at all possible always buy directly from the seller.

(shut up Jim) No I completely get it and I would\will just order direct. #oldpeopleproblems my parents learned how to use Amazon but refuse to figure out how to shop anywhere else online no matter how easy it is.

Or would advertise on their website that they sell on Amazon. Smells funny.

Quick phone call confirms the Amazon storefront is legit but they would prefer direct orders. As an aside, they also have listings on ebay. Just trying to increase exposure.

They treat their employees horribly as well, and are not good corporate neighbors. A fulfillment center moved into the same business park where I work, and the street is no longer safe. It’s just a matter of time before someone gets mowed down. I already got clipped on my bike once, wearing the brightest possible jacket you can imagine. Would’ve been hard not to see me

Well I'm glad to see it's legit, but yes I would order from them directly as I always have them "top off" the box with rough to get the most out of the shipping.

Shawm sends candy with his orders. A drawback of having a twelve year old boy as a helper is that it disappears instantly. He does not like it when we order from other vendors. Al

Nothing but positive experiences with The Rock Shed. They make it hard to go anywhere else.
