My CB8 arrived! I put a Baltic 30 grit sintered diamond, 80 grit and 220 grit sintered from Kingsley and then 220/600/1200 resin from Baltic also. I have a 3000 wheel as well, but not sure how long term I want this set up. Water system is just a bucket with a drilled bulkhead and adapter to 1/4'' water line. Drains are 3/4'' to 1/2'' tubing into a 5 gal bucket. I also have a new 10'' saw I'll get pics of soon.

Thanks! I'm excited to learn how to use it lol. The sintered wheels are beastly heavy.

That is a nice looking machine, but it is way too clean. Is the 30 grit wheel 2" wide?

That is a nice looking machine, but it is way too clean. Is the 30 grit wheel 2" wide? I literally JUST finished setting it up! I was having trouble figuring out how to best tighten down each side nut so as to keep the wheels firmly in place. The 30 grit is indeed 2'' wide, 6mm thick with an aluminum core. It's a beast

Sweet! I took lots of pics when mine was new also. Yes it does not take long to get dirty!

Congrats on the arrival of your new toy! Let us know how you like it after you've used it a little and dirtied it up a bit.

Good looking machine. I just got mine in (same one) but haven't had a chance to even put wheels on it yet.

I was checking out the CB8 machine at the HP booth in Tucson last year, HP did a real nice job designing this machine. I am sure you will like it a lot.

Cool! Let me know how you set it up. It seems like it’s going to need a spray guard more than what it has. Also a side spray guard. Wheel wise I am putting a diamond plated 60 and 220 on it followed by nova 280,600,1200,3000. End of shaft I plan on running a buffing pad with either 14K diamond or cerum oxide. Might have to cobble a splash guard for other end from your comment. Stainless makes a simple magnetic mount of plexi a problem. Have to think about another solution.

That looks like a really nice machine. I wish they'd make a six inch version so the wheels wouldn't cost so much. I'm anxious to hear how you like it after using it for awhile.

It's really solid I can tell you that. I wish I had other cabbing experience so I could share a comparison to say the Genie or CabKing etc.
