Things are getting very real. In less than two weeks the company I work for and am a part owner of, will be moving to a new location. The location was custom renovated to meet the needs of a small-moderate sized brewery, tap room and home brewing supply shop. Very exciting times. Everyone, including me, are working more days/hours in preparation. I am mostly working more and longer shifts. Often alone, when there used to be two people. Sometimes, I am packing up items for the move. Very little time to do much of anything but the farm essentials at home. Others are working 12-14 hour shifts at times. Construction, painting, transporting, logistics, etc. Everyone is doing what is needed for the move. This includes some investors who are volunteering to do what they can to help. Here is a link to a news story about the move. www.wsaw.com/2021/04/16/oso-brewing-prepares-for-new-digs-at-artists-and-fare/?fbclid=IwAR143IwnPqerXe_H68TM76uejEObMWL3dMvIDLI01xnW9LoZ1OzZU0o5DwAOnce the move is complete, additional employees will be hired. Looking forward to the new location and helping train new employees.

Congrats on the move - three times the space. The hard work will pay off for all of you.
“You’re gonna be able to sit down, have some pizza, have a beer and watch us can beer, which is pretty cool,” Buttera said. “People wanna see it behind the scenes, we put it right out in front of ‘em.”

Extra cool thing is that anyone at the bar next to the canning line will be able to ask for a can of beer off the line. All we ask is a small donation to the charity of the day.
We usually pick a small charitable cause for many events. Most are families in need. Those who have a child/family member who has a terminal condition and many long trips for care. Those whose home was recently broken into. Those who home was broken into and were injured. Those whose house caught on fire. Etc.
More helping locals than not for profit organizations.

We also named one of our seasonal beers for someone we helped. A very sweet lady who has overcome Cancer 3 times. She had 3 different types of Cancer over a 5 year period. Has been cancer free for 5 years. Her and/or her husband often stop by to say Hi and enjoy some beers or more recently get to go items.

Sweet deal. Moving is so scary and stressful. My former employer made a huge move like that and it was days of packing, unpacking, repacking, moving this and moving that, unpacking this for an order (we were a mail order/ internet pet supplier), then repacking it up. Uggh I got into a huge fight with the general manager and told the owner to get him under control or I was walking (I had rented the Uhaul and was the only one driving it). Long and short it was a good move and the company lasted another 15 years in the new space.

Congrats! Wow, I didn't know you were part of a beer company. I haven't had a beer since Feb. of 2015, when I was diagnosed with celiac disease. I had to give away my beer collection. Sad. I used to really enjoy trying different brews. Best wishes on your new venture!
