If it will pick out a small coin at 2 inches for 35 bucks is not bad, I have 3 Garrett pin pointers and they run double of that price plus a bit more !

I have run BH detectors for years. Best bang for the buck. My pin pointer (please don't laugh) came from Walmart. It is a toy metal detector called the Matrix Zone spy detector. They closed them out for $5. Cracked it open and the pot was backed all the way down. Turned it up to 3/4 and it will detector down to 3 inches with almost no feedback. I have used it for years and only gone through 1 battery.
