Here's the biggest rock I've done so far; came out pretty decent from Thumler's B + TXP. Some rough spots that wouldn't come out unless I wore it to a nub, but that's okay:

rrod That turned out fantastic. What size barrel are you using? You can definitely add some larger rocks to you tumble. Don’t add too many though. They kind of beat each other up. Nice work!

Nice job Rod! The biggest one I've done in my Model B is a prairie agate just over fist size...my wife says it looks like a Rock Mountain Oyster! LOL

The Thumler's B is a 15 pounder. This particular rock I found in my backyard and it stood up well to poundings from a few big crazy laces (which seem like they'll take about a year to finish). But yeah, anything with any brittleness will just get destroyed with bigger rocks in the mix, which sucks because the bigguns sure do increase the speed of the grind. Nice job Rod! Now that I'm doubled-up on the B, I can start some bigger projects.

That’s a big tumbler. My largest is 12 lbs. the big ones do help the grind. I’m looking forward to more photos.
