It might be copper. I don't think I've ever seen that material before.

I’m terrible with any sort of identification, so take my guess with a big grain of salt.
The blues and greens look like a decent color match for azurite-malachite and it also looks like a bit of hematite at the top, but that could be a reflection.

Looks like for sure a copper related Chryssocola or Shattuckite, not really sure where one ends and the other begins. Tommy don't you agree that this will qualify? BTW that looks fantastic.

Beautiful cab! Agree it's some type of chrysocolla/shattuckite/copper complex.
You can change your entry in the contest I believe. Someone did that in one of the recent contests, if I'm remembering correctly.

Thank you everyone for the responses! I love the colors and wanted to purchase some in future. Now I know what to search for! hummingbirdstones, thank you for the tip but that was me who switched entries last month. Lol. And i Certainly don't want to get in the habit of doing that so I'm gonna stick with my entry this month.

I would say Cuprite is the red, green is Malachite, the dark blue is Shattuckite or Azurite, lighter blue/green is Chryscolla. Pretty much everyone above has it. Shattuckite would be hard to distinguish from Azurite in a picture. Shattuckite is a copper silicate and is harder than Azurite (a copper carbonate). You may be able to tell this based on how it cuts.

Deep blue color that practically melted on the wheels. Underneath was clear agate and what looked like malachite. On the 1200 wheel a piece of the malachite popped out and left a deep hole...the cab I asked for ID on wasn't nearly as soft so based on that I'm thinking shattuckite. Lemme see if i have pic of that other one..

Would I be safe to assume Shattuckite on this one as well?
