I think it's uber cool. I bet it would make some nice cabs.

I like it! Of course, I like anything metallic.
Yup, don't slab it until you're gonna do a clean-out. It will be a complete mess and dirty as all hell.

It looks like it’s part cyborg.

I was looking at a slab of Marcasite I have earlier today which I thought was pretty awesome...and then I get a view of what you've got! Those are just drop-dead gorgeous!

Wow! Those are awesome~
How would one find something like that?
Are they specific to a particular geologic strata?
Curious to know what type of blade you end up using to cut those.
I used a cheap diamond blade on what I thought was basalt and got a lot of sparks.
Thanks for posting.

Nicely done research! I can't imagine you didn't take some pictures of those cuts...ahem...hint hint... As far as going through the weed field:

As far as going through the weed field: Thanks for sharing the video, it’s actually not that far fetched believe it or not lol! I’ll get some pictures up, I’m cutting a cabochon from one of the slabs. I believe that cab is going to be amazing...at least that's what I've been imagining since seeing the pics of the original nodule! "Without a Paddle" is one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time...ranks right up there with Tommy Boy and Elf! LOL
