Hello All, So I had the nat geo beginner rock tumbler. Finally, after 6 runs it broke. I think I want to do a Vibratory Tumbler. I am looking at the Lot-o. Why? Sound and it fits my size tumbles.
I see people saying "you can get a vib tumbler for unre $70!" But I have never seen those. Am I looking at the wrong places? I see the Lot-o go for like 279. I saw one on ArrowHead but have no idea if they are reputable. Any thoughts? Comments? Thanks! Jeff

hsnopi, if you have need for a new rotary, I would recommend the Lortone 33b. I have not tried a vibe yet but was looking into the raytech tv 5 as well.

Food for thought...
I balked at the price of a Lot-O, and tried 18 ways from Sunday to come up with a cheaper alternative. After about 18 months, I bought the Lot-O, and it was the single best thing I ever bought for this hobby.
Can it be done "on the cheap(er)?" Yes, absolutely, but if I amortized the cost against the number of loads I've done in that thing, it's probably pennies per load, and it still works like a champ.
If you can afford it without compromising your finances, I absolutely recommend it.
