Not hiding, attempting to work through Cloudinary 2 steps forward, and 1, or even 2 back but will get there some day. Walking the dog on a beach this spring and literally stumbled on some Snowflake rocks, ( Basalt Porphyry ) what a find! so I took what I thought were the best 3, and left the rest for someone else to find. Mine are large Russet potato size ( thought I would have photos to show) so how does one decide how to cut them to get the most snowflakes per slice, or do I just polish them, and be done with it.. open to ideas...

Hooray! Great job working through Cloudinary. Cool rocks. Can't help with deciding how to cut them, although I would guess the pattern will be much the same no matter which way you decide to do it.

Congratulations and welcome! I love the rocks you guys find in BC - especially Dallasite and the various flower stones. With the flowerstones that I've cut there doesn't seem to be a particular orientation which tells me the patterns are round and you get the same basic pattern from any direction.
