Karl, the pictures of the material are flat-out "swoon worthy"! I loved seeing pictures of the dig site. I never would have pictured it like that! Thank you so much for taking the time to post those photos along with the history/explanations!

Thanks guys. I’ve always found the area and process of how material was mined to be just as interesting as the material itself. I started really getting into it watching videos of material being mined out in graveyard point. When I start going out in the future to different dig sites, new and old, I’ll start taking pics and trying to give some background info on the area. Next time I’m home, I’ll crawl up in the Bat caves and take pics of that area so everyone can see just where the bat cave jasper came from.

Very interesting story and wonderful site photography. I really like the plume that has color in addition to the white background. Keep digging and doing the photo editorial.
