I apologize for the crappy picks. Its dark here so I grabbed what I could see and brought them in to give you an idea. Indoor lighting sucks and does not do the detail or colors justice. There is such a big variety in colors throughout all that I collected today. So i'll post more pics as i cut ends and polish. Couple big angel wing nodules.  The Smaller of the two nodules flipped over and wet. Lots of golden moss/micro plumes  Small nodule I cut, just for you guys in the snow and rain.  Nodule cut open.  I'm certain there will be some better material in the rest of it. I got some huge chunks. I'll be getting the rest out of there too haha. |

 I don't know. That's a tough call. You gotta figure it isn't going to be going anywhere...but knowing it's there and NOT getting it would kill me! LOL I’m extremely paranoid about others stumbling on finds by dumb luck. It’s happened to me in the past. I generally try to do quick work if possible. I hear you. IMO nowadays if you find anything substantial file the claim after the material is in your garage. Too many, especially up there, who are fine with raiding any new claim. |

IMO nowadays if you find anything substantial file the claim after the material is in your garage. Too many, especially up there, who are fine with raiding any new claim. 100% agree with that and have had it happen. With snow on the ground and location, i'm not too overly concerned. The rest that is left, due to a different look, 99% of people wouldn't even realize what it is. If weather allows, I might go out one last time this season with my friend. If you make it to the powwow, remind me and i'll come by and give you a chunk. |

Well, Id' say from the pictures so far, it was well worth the headache (and body ache) to go retrieve that material! With fortifications kinda taking my top spot of favorites in a material (mainly due to Teepee Canyon Agates and Fairburn Agates), I'd have to say moss and plume material has to be a pretty close second! I love this material! Good on ya for finding this...and you really do find some amazing materials!  |
