Apache Tears that is. Forgot the size reference, but the larger ones are about ½-3/4"” wide. Plan on putting some of them in the cage style pendants. Others will be for earrings and rings.

Definitely nothing to cry about in that batch Beth! Thanks. Third tumble of Apache tears and this is the best ever. They are a lot more shiny than the photo shows.

IDK how you did it but they're gorgeous. I'm surrounded by obsidian and it never seems to come out well for me. Keep up the good work!

IDK how you did it but they're gorgeous. I'm surrounded by obsidian and it never seems to come out well for me. Keep up the good work! Final polish: Tin Oxide. 75% stage specific, plastic tumbling pellets, 25% Tears. 1 lb barrel. Chicago Electric tumbler for all stages. Started with a 3 lb. barrel.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. On a side note, I've been thinking of adding a HF tumbler to the mix. Sounds like it works for you.

I had some wonderful advice here on how to modify it a little before using. Just changed to an O-ring style belt, adjusted belt tension. I oil the bearrings monthly with carbine oil.
