Calling for rain... AGAIN... tonight. Boo! No rain on the left side of the country, should be a good show. Tela, I hope you are able to view it between rain showers.

RickB - Are you going to try and snap some of your amazing pictures of the eclipse tonight? I'll give it a try Jason. Last time we had a lunar eclipse I couldn't get a good shot until it was at it's peak. Will be partly cloudy tonight.

I think 9 out of 10 eclipses we've been under cloud cover...same with seeing the Northern Lights when they're supposed to be visible... I've tried to take some pics of the moon...and it doesn't work out real well. It's still 3 hours off for us. It's supposed to be full eclipse at 10:11pm our time.

Too many clouds kind of blotted it all out. Good luck on your climb and be careful!

Took 111 photos of the eclipse and these were some of the best shots. I had to delete about three quarters of the 111. Used a Chevy Impala for a tripod and several mosquito bites later we have these.

Didn't see any of it, the low clouds came in before the moon even came up. Did not even cover the entire sky, just where the moon was trying to come up. Nada on that score.
However, I saw a satellite to the east of me heading south. And the icing on the cake - happened to be looking in the right direction at the right time and saw the ISS cruise on by. Have seen it before, this is the second time when I wasn't even looking for it.
Next lunar eclipse in November.
