Looks like it has also been 14 months since I have created any metal work pieces. Here's a couple I did over Memorial weekend. One copper forged and one silversmithed. I am a big fan of the copper forging but it just does not seem to sell as good as I think they should. The silver piece shows more imperfections then my aging eyes can see. Might have to go back and touch that one up. Thanks for looking Chuck

Good to see you posting again, Chuck! Thanks. Have not had the time lately but over the next few months I could slowly get back into it. Chuck

Nice. I prefer the copper over the silver.

Nice. I prefer the copper over the silver. Me too but at half the price the copper still don't sell as fast as the silver. I have a few nice copper ones that have not sold after being listed a year on Etsy as a matter of fact. Chuck

Chuck, I think those are both great! I think I'm partial to the silver one slightly more than the copper...not that the copper one is bad!

Just a preference I suppose but I prefer copper with patina or distressed dull silver. I am sure I have created about a thousand pendants and to date this distressed silver one is the only one I have kept and wear. I did keep this copper one for awhile. Like I said I think the copper with patina along with the shape here is a bit more of a rugged look. And looking back I think if I would have bent the bails into rectangle tubes I would have liked it even better. Chuck

Nice work, Chuck.
I prefer the copper piece and I do love copper jewelry, but you're right. It doesn't sell quite as well.

I really like your triangular copper piece, especially the bails curving to the outside instead of in. Looks nice.

I think both are very nice but I prefer the silver. The copper does blend extremely well and is a super accent for the second piece.

I can't bring myself to do it either. If I am going to spend the money on the silver I am going to spend the time to solder it. That birdseye rhyolite is just perfect in copper. Edit: Just had a quick thought of trying to find a sheet of stainless steel to try a forged version out of that. Chuck
