1Mark Very cool that you visit these sites, too. Nine Mile is a real treasure, thousands these works. I've visited twice and only brushed the surface. We were able to visit an excavation site in Nine Mile: The "Pregnant Buffalo", Nine Mile:

Hey Win, did you ever do Grand Gulch? We were the first group in after the Summer in 2001 and it was quite an experience trying to find and stay on trail, and find water. Lots of wonderful pictographs and ruins still in tact.

Mark, I have not done that, got old too fast! We have roamed around Cedar Mesa and Comb Ridge, love that area!! Good for you for doing Grand Gulch, it's amazing from what I hear and read.
