I like to garden, although the way the weather goes around here I do question my sanity trying.
Last year & now again we are getting so much rain that a lot of the garden doesn't produce.
Here's a photo I took a couple of weeks ago, it's a bit more grown in now.
My biggest accomplishment is my hot peppers.
I started wintering some over & have a hedge of sorts outside the garden fence .
I'll have to get a photo.
Patty .... who ate her first homemade pickle yesterday - Half Sour Dills thank you (refrigerator pickles)

I gotta sit down and go through the long confusing process of getting pics on here. I’m on Instagram gumbo_agate_ tumbler have pics of my garden and 100’s of pics of rocks

Thanks! Really it’s only about 800 square feet, but I make pretty good use of the space. If I add the orchard, rose garden, sheep, chickens, and guardian dogs I might then qualify as a hippie homesteader lol That's a pretty nice garden you have there. Out of curiosity, what part of the country do you live in ?

Obviously a good climate for growing, that and the chicken stuff to boast it. Looks great.

I have several gardens. Some herbs, some veggies, some wild plants. I love it. Harvest and use all for a variety of things.
Also have 7 apple trees, many Black Raspberries and some grapes I maintain.

Here's my first harvest of the season. I plant small quantities of some crops every three weeks so I get manageable waves of produce throughout the year.

My garden is small this year, so only planted corn. It's over waist high and growing fast...

Guess I should make a public service announcement... If you've never grown Burpless 26 cucumbers you are missing out! You can order seeds from several on line seed companies and I consider these cukes to be best for fresh eating. I grow other varieties for pickling. They are a mild, tender variety and it's best to immediately store them in a sealed plastic bag with a splash of water to keep them from getting rubbery.

Picked around ten pounds of rainier cherries as a family yesterday. I'm hoping to head to my "secret spot" for huckleberries tomorrow. Wish me luck!

From earlier this year. Grow them via hydroponics (dutch bucket system), outside of that I've not had a chance to get a garden started this year as the place we moved to wasn't very well cared for with regards to soil. I have mountains of compost going for next spring, and if my body will stop acting like it's 110 years old I'll be able to dig in once things start to thaw from winter.
