rmfThank you! Googled that and it does look like it. rockbrain Thanks, I was pretty excited about it seeing that everything else around it was brown and white chert. Found it today at a culvers, in their landscape rocks. (Culvers is a midwest fast food place.)

Actually from your description of the Chert rocks and the posted specimen, I have seen these recently at a landscape stone supply yard. Many weathered Agates like yours in the mix. The issue is landscape supply places source these stones from all the US over and don't typically know or aren't willing to share what locale they came from.

fuss Lol maybe that is true! I have been told by the husband to stop “relocating” stranded rocks in the subway landscaping.

Found it today at a culvers, in their landscape rocks. (Culvers is a midwest fast food place.) I was surprised to see a Culver's in Cedar City, Utah when we were there at the end of May this year. They appear to be everywhere now. They Originated about 40 min northwest of me in Sauk City, WI. Nice fid on the rock, it's a beaut! Is it going to be tumbled?

Wow that’s nice. My favorites to tumble are always the self collected ones. Good eye to find that little bugger!

fuss Lol maybe that is true! I have been told by the husband to stop “relocating” stranded rocks in the subway landscaping. Don't listen to him. We rescue good looking rocks on our neighborhood walks from the folks who use regular river rocks for cover, and I take them home to tumble and polish them. I haven't decided yet whether I'll return them after they are done, or if they will just live with me. I'm thinking maybe I'll donate some of my "nopes" to where they came from instead, because the people there will never really know the difference... right!?

I would even drive north just to go to a Culver's!! We don't have them in Arkansas. At least not that I know of!
