Thanks everyone! Jugglerguy I did find mosasaur bone in West Texas several years back. There were pieces weathering out of an area that was reminiscent of the Chinle Formation. My guess is it's a similar situation up in Utah where this stuff probably originated.

Ninja kitty lets me know it's time to get up by strategically stepping on me around 4:30 every morning. I'm usually in bed no later than 9 so it's really no big deal.

Gorgeous stuff Chuck! I love Mexican agates and really appreciate the polished piece you sent with the grove wrap I bought from you last month.
Karma will catch up with the @sshole who stole the other half of number one.

Wow.. some absolute beauties there! Funny, I've never had much in the way of whale bone, but I just picked up a collection that included several pieces. Looking forward to seeing what's inside

Yup, luck of the cut alright! Sometimes cutting with the water lines can produce some amazing results, but in this case your rotation was the winning formula!

You're very welcome everyone! Glad to see a few arrived earlier than expected, and it looks like all have been delivered except for one. The material is mostly self collected from many parts of Arizona, and a bit from western NM. Robin it was great to see you and Vince yesterday! Thanks for the slab and IDing some of my opal stuff. Hope you guys had a great meal at Portillos too! After the show we stopped by and took mohs out to a tasty lunch at Don Jose, then went out to Papago park. It was a wonderful day!

Some sweet runners up in the periphery, but that dark horse in the center just won the race!
