Max is an Egyptian Tortoise, about the size of a baseball. 2 yrs old, and will get about the size of a volleyball at about 75 years old. Hobbs will get the size of a Buick, if I don't stop feeding him stuff I have 'left-over'.

Ahh...another Max that is as cute as can be! Yep...his shell is rather pretty....though I'd give it 75 yrs before you tumble him! *snickers*
Hobbs and Caesar would have some fun together at the dinner table. I spoil Caesar regularly. Guess that's why he's quite loyal to me...and so round around the middle.

Caesar "guarding" my work area. Ahh....my little manatee! I startled Caesar taking this photo! (Silly flash thingee came up with a bang and he bolted up!) But he lived through it....and continued counting corn-muffins in his sleep. By the way...that's a piggy ear on his blanket....and his stuffed lion. They go everywhere with him! Ok...enough Caesar pics....but at least you can see his well-fed size now. ;D

Aww Kim..Bruno is so adorable. Ya gotta quite posting pics of him or we will end up with a basset added to our menagerie. I posted pics of my pride and joy awhile back. Mellie our Chessie. Then there is lucky the fat black lab who's only concern in life is breakfast/supper and chasing rabbits. There's Seiko the shepherd/husky mix who is old and has lost almost all of her front teeth. When she sleeps she sticks her tongue out and wheezes so bad we wonder if she is expelling her last breath. We also have one lone rabbit. A new zealand named Snowball that was spared the final butchering by my oldest daughter. And finally my daughters' two rats named Sweetpea and Sunflower. Wait I almost forgot the old sheep (we call her old girl) and the goat named Billy Bob. We had two my husband named Billy Bob and Billy Ray. Hopefully next spring we will be adding a couple horses to the list and at least one beef calf that we will call Sirloin. ;D

Aside from rock, I'm a sucker for animals and they're all beautiful! *scrubs Bruno behind the ears*
I think I've settled into being a dog-lover though....I hear the cat hollering again to be fed. At least Caesar is quiet! *snickers*

Yipes! Are you sure Caesar didn't eat the whole pig! ;D That is one big dog. I would sure hate to have to foot the food bill for him. He is certainly well fed! Cujo is so cute! Rainy and Anabell are good lookin' dogs too! Willow and Girl are very dignified looking. And who couldn't love that face of Bruno's? Bobo the bad boy cat is hysterical! He just looks like a wild one! Now, for some pics of my new addition. Sez Max "Hey, now just what the heck is THIS invading my territory? I won't hurt it, but I'm not sure I like it." "Hey, get this thing away from me!!" "Just what is this little thing doing on MY sofa!" This little one was found this AM out by the burn pile. Nobody could see him/her, but could hear it crying. Obviously they found it, and remembering that I had said I wanted a kitten, they found a box for it, fed it and waited for me to get home. I had a message on my answering machine to come to the office as soon as I got home because they had a surprise for me. He/she is really tiny, probably just barely 4 or 5 weeks old. It learned how to eat real fast and has a set of lungs on it. Still to little to tell if it's male or female, but I think it's a she. Not a bit afraid of Max, in fact, I think Max is afraid of it. Every time it gets close, he runs. He was not happy that I made him stay while I took these pics. He hasn't acted like he wants to hurt it or anything, but really doesn't want it to be too close to him. I think when it gets a bit bigger, they will be big pals. Max has always had a cat. So, now we're a family of three! Max, the kitty and me! Soon as I figure out if it's male or female, I'll have to think up a name for it. If it's eyes stay blue, might just call it Blue. llana
