No, I didn't get to go but with prices like that, it's just as well. Would have been too rich for me too.

Yes, John that's true, most of the auctions went quite $$$ ! The ones that got my eye were the ones in the rough & tumbling categories, a few of them ended quite low like the one of the 16 lbs of Picture Sandstone that ended for $2.00! I don't know how much they were to charge for S&H but that sounded good to me. I guess it is possible to find a few good deals if lady luck helps us out.

Hi John,
I was interested but forgot until yesterday afternoon. Which is ok, because like you the rock sold for much higher prices than I anticipated or wanted to spend with the additional auctioneer fees and shipping!
I was interested in the Lakers, Mexican Lace and Montana moss.
Oh well, maybe next time.

Hello everyone,
I know what you mean ... I watched some tri-colored plume agate sell for 45.00 a pound, a four pound piece of Rhodochrosite sell for 220.00 ... just a bit too high for my pocket book.
The only problem was how to get my rough up to MN by the time they closed ;D
Enjoy,
John
