A friend brought over a slab with some cabs drawn to cut out. I was concerned that it wouldn't polish but wow these are turning out good so far, and it cut really well without breaking apart. She bought the slab in Idaho but not sure beyond that. Any ideas? It seems really solid so far, is holding together nicely while cutting, and giving a good shine. This is before final polish... Thanks for the input!

My first thought was petrified wood...but that fracture on the left side is steering me away from that. That second cab is SICK!! (The good kind! )

looks like a siltstone cemented with silica. Possibly a vug filling on the bottom with some brecciation and agate healing
