I think this is my second 3 pound batch this year. I’ve been kind of lazy on the tumbling front. Other hobbies and yard work have been keeping me hopping. Here’s the whole batch on the obligatory ugly towel. Last summer I used a glass cutter to cut up some Brazillian agate slabs. Here are some of the results. Some of these are pretty thin. It seems like the rotaries would break these up more. It always amazes me how tough agate is. As always, I have some Bots and LSAs in the batch. A few miscellaneous agates and jaspers. These are Alimajo agates and a couple small LSAs. The Alimajo agates are interesting. Many are hollow but the colors on the inside are amazing. I’ll have some nicer ones soon. Thanks for looking. Sorry about the fingerprints.

Some killers in there Brent, but the big red one rivals the ending of Inception. Awesome tumbles

Thanks everybody. I’m trying to focus on tumbling more. I need to repair the water system on the CabKing too.

That is an awesome batch Brent! They all look amazing, I really love the LSA. Thanks Ashley. I just got 10 lbs of small LSAs for filler. They work as good as ceramic and they sometimes turn out attractive. They’re getting expensive though. I remember when you could buy them from KN for $4/ lb. wow - those are absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing! I just got some more montana's from the rockshed that I'm excited to see how they turn out. I need about three more tumblers lol... *edited to make moontana, Montana Thanks Peta. Moontana agates take a great polish. I can’t remember if you have a little saw. Slicing up agates before tumbling sure does improve them. Wow!! My wife and I love these! Very nice job there. Thanks velo. I knew you would appreciate the LSAs. They’ve been a staple ever since I started tumbling 30 some years ago. Ha! Indeed! They should be included in the tumbling starter packs. LOL. Do you mean to say the ugly towel is no longer included? I guess that makes mine more valuable. I got another 3 pounder started on 220.

Starguy - I do have a small trim saw and a tile saw - I'm not the most diligent at sawing off rough spots, but need to start doing that - I have some amazing agates that have deep pits because I just let them run and then I end up with a tiny rock lol...

rocknewb101 I know what you mean. It takes time to saw or grind on rocks.
