I cut up a chunk of that green jasper you find on the Yellowstone from time to time. This one has the red flecks inside like the Indian stuff. Anyone else ever seen this? I remember finding the chunk. It was either Glendive or more likely Fallon.

Bloodstone, or more technically "Heliotrope," or even MORE technically "ematille" is found in lots of places besides India. I recall several spots in Idaho where I collected small amounts of it many years ago.

Hey I found a chunk of that before. Thanks for the tag Jason. I don't have any slab or cab pictures but it's pretty awesome looking stuff.

I thought I had lost my mind at first. This summer I will be looking harder for that too.

I’ve found that stuff on the crooked river in central Oregon.

I didn't take pics and it is buried somewhere in a container of recent slabs.
