Are you a member of The MN Mineral Club? If so you could have Prof. Bill look at it and tell you what it is at one of the meetings.

Yes, last year I did sign up to be a member of the MN mineral club, but I haven't gone to any of their meetings yet. But I'm actually planning on attending the meeting this month. So I'll bring this rock with me and I'll try to show it to them if there's enough time at the end of the meeting. Thanks for the tip.

definitely not komatiite . Feldspar phenocryst -Syenite is my guess
