Hello all,
Many of you have probably worked or at least heard of Mookaite from Australia. Does anyone know when it was first imported into the USA?
All the best, Michael

Well, my stash cleared customs sometime before February, 2006. : ) Mookaite is found in the Kennedy Ranges near Gascoyne Junction which is about 170 kms inland from the coastal town of Carnarvon in Western Australia . . . It has been quarried from the area since the mid 1960's by local specimen miners. As of 2013, three specimen miners hold leases over most of the area.
Glenn Archer of Outback Mining is one of them and he’s gotta be in Arizona now. Someone from RTH will surely see him in Quartzsite* or Tucson and their assignment is to find out for us. * Desert Gardens has him listed as a vendor this year.
