After watching a video on geology, from Wonderium, I became fascinated by the earth and what it can tell us about everything, from the universe, time, space and how we came to be!
Then I jumped into rock tumbling. I love it!
It's the mess that I have a problem with.
been tumbling for months but really am all over the place.
I have 3 tumblers. One I broke already, one not working, The Nat Geo is in stage 3.
So I am just frustrated right now.

Welcome from Missouri. Sorry about your tumbler that doesn't work. Seems more and more common lately. I would like to know which one you had problems with if you don't mind saying. I think it is important for tumblers to know what works and what people are having trouble with.

first mistake was having two similar, dual tumblers, which when I was changing the steps, some parts, lids, different screw tops, etc. got mixed up resulting in leaking and not tumbling right or not at all.

It helps greatly and feels less chaotic if you create a routine that works in the space you are working in. Specifically regarding "the mess" our members submitted their pro tips and tricks and they are compiled in a series of articles found here: www.RockTumbling.com/rotary-rock-tumbling-cleaning-up/ Hope this helps.

Welcome to the forum from South Dakota! Well...rock tumbling will teach you patience. If it doesn't, you become a cabber like me! LOL

Welcome from California. Not a tumbler, but many tumbling pros here. Take a look at the Home Page. It lists several sections for tumbling.
