These are my new pendant display stands. They're similar to some I showed on here before. The old ones were covered with vinyl that I couldn't get to stay on. These are sprayed with rock textured spray paint. I also made the front pieces on this much more carefully. All the holes are in the same spots so they're all interchangeable. I load all my pendants up at home, wrap a piece of stretch wrap around them and drop them in the bottom of a divided black plastic box. When I get to the sale I just have to take them out, unwrap them and run one screw in each side. These are also one tier taller than the last ones I made and I progressively slanted the front pieces so the bottom ones are more of an angle pointing up at you and the top ones that are closer to head height are closer to level. These also have a top section that is removable so they can be three tiers or four tiers tall. I also made a cabochon display case. It's wood frame with a plywood back. Inside the plywood is a piece of stone painted sheet metal. The bagged cabochons hang with a magnet. I can load everything up, close the case and transport it. It all worked out very well. I had to set up by myself for a show last weekend and it went very quickly.

Those are great! Are they your own design? How long do you think they will hold up?

Those are great! Are they your own design? How long do you think they will hold up? Yes, they're my design. I think they will hold up well. The stone paint seems pretty good and they don't really get much stress on them. When they are wrapped with the stretch wrap that pretty much keeps anything from moving or rubbing in transit. The sides will probably get scratched up a bit but they don't really show when set up. I made them flat black which isn't as tough as gloss but easier to touch up. I think if the front platforms get dinged up they can just be touched up to. The finish is bumping enough so it should just blend right in. I have a few pieces of carboard cut to size. I just throw another on the side pieces in the storage box and I can set my Riker cases and signs on top. I'm trying to get everything so I can do one load on my convertible hand truck/cart. It probably won't happen just because my awning is so large and I can't really do anything about that. Everything else will go in boxes and my 4 tables, 2 chairs and all the boxes can go on one cartload. The awning does have wheels.

Awesome! Sounds like you got it down to a science. Your design is really cool. I like the use of textured paint.

Love it. I'm always looking for better ways to transport and set up/ take down.
