Did lortone go out of business??? I am looking for 12 lb barrels and notice they’re out of stock everywhere along with just about everything else they make.

Yeah, there were some posts about this. Lortone sent out a letter to all their distributers saying they were ceasing production of all their stuff. I think stores are starting to run out of inventory as well, as it's getting hard and harder to find parts and whatnot for them, let alone fully assembled tumblers. There was a post on here earlier in the week from someone sharing a photo of a brand new QT66 they just got. That was probably the last one sold! Sad days.

Try therockshed.com talk to Shawn. Also Kingsley North, they might have a few left... COVID took the supply and demand with tumbling! Did you try eBay too? Was at a local rock show today and they had a Lortone QT6 double barrel for sale - $348.00 WOW!

There’s a number of threads here already on this and I think I’ve probably commented on all with my disappointment. I hope I don’t end up regretting not buying one of each type of products they offered… larger tumbler, trim saw, etc. I think though that I may always regret not applying for a job there years ago when I was considering it. Anyway I found their “about” page on their website which is really cute and tells their story. Also has a picture of the beautiful locale which might be fun for any of you non-locals. lortone.com/pages/about

Look for Lortone parts through Minnesota Lapidary Supply. MLS has decided to start ordering some limited runs of Lortone spec parts from their suppliers. Things should start showing up there in another 6-8 weeks.

I have ordered Lortone parts from him and he's fair on prices ..
